I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and grew up in Granbury, Texas. I attended A&P School at Tarrant County College and received two associates degrees and my A&P. My first job was with US Aviation, a large flight school in Denton Texas. I got to see many wild situations due to foreign exchange student training. I received an IA in 2021 and have always been in private aviation. In Granbury I got the pleasure of being located next to many manufacturers in the DFW area allowing me to receive manufacturer training courses. I assisted in writing my first 145 repair station with Avionics Technologies, alongside Peter Heffley. Peter was ultimately my Aviation mentor and is still servicing avionics in Granbury to this day. In that process I attended many training courses from the AEA, Garmin, Avidyne, ABS, and more. During that time I worked with our sister company Granbury Aviation Services, with Ron Stowell (A DME there in Granbury), servicing and providing aircraft maintenance. My time in general aviation is where my heart lies. In 2023 I moved to Fort Smith where I began working on turbine aircraft, MILSPEC avionics, and pursuing the DoD with all it has to offer. I continued working with Valkyrie Aerospace- RAVN AERO- and Lockheed Martin here in Fort Smith. Tucanos- Hawk jets- Pratt and Whitney Training- Martin Baker training- Dillion Arms training - Ordinance training and more. I opened JAM in the summer of 2024 and pursuing self employment will always be my goal. God has blessed me with a beautiful wife Hannah, and my two sons Archer and Logan. They have followed me all along the way. Some of my favorite projects are a N67716 Beechcraft Staggerwing that we did a complete avionics panel in. N732KN a Cessna 210K I assisted restoring along with an IO-550 conversion- new avionics- and many annuals. N7959K a B33 Debonair I converted to an IO-470-N and installed new avionics. My customers are ultimately my friends and I am proud to have serviced them throughout the years and hopefully many to come.

I am first and foremost a devoted Christian, husband, and father. However, when I am not with my family or in church, I can be found on the airfield, arms-deep in some upgrade, repair, or inspection. My career in aviation began in 1996 when I first joined the US Air Force and started maintaining B-52s at Barksdale AFB in Louisiana. In 2004, I advanced to Dedicated Crew Chief with my own plane, 60-0010. During my two tours in the Air Force, I deployed around the world maintaining the bomber fleet for various wartime operations, assisted in the restoration of a B-52 (60-0054) that had had two engines separate from the aircraft in flight, earned an Associate’s degree, earned my A&P certification, and met my soulmate. In 2005, I separated from the military and went to work at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma, where depot-level maintenance on B-52s is performed. For three years, I removed and installed engines, rigged cables, performed troubleshooting, and ensured every square inch of the massive bombers was up to technical specs and fully mission-capable. In 2008, I took an hiatus from aviation to work a successful family business in Colorado that lasted until 2023. But after moving to Van Buren, Arkansas, I jumped back into aviation and began working on A-27 Tucanos for a military contract. At the same time and at the company’s very beginning, I began working with Jumper Aircraft Maintenance, learning the ins and outs of the general aviation side of maintenance. Currently, I enjoy performing tip-to-tail maintenance on the pt-6 powered fighter planes; meeting mission deadlines, troubleshooting squawks, making repairs, completing inspections, maintaining our Dillon Gun, and loading bombs. But my heart is with Jumper Maintenance, where all of my skills and experience are put to use on a wide variety of privately owned aircraft. I loved installing a complete speed kit upgrade on a Piper Cherokee, removing and installing an overhauled zero-time engine on a Cirrus SR-22, and completing numerous annual inspections with my friend and partner, Braden Jumper. I am currently pursuing an FAA Inspection Authorization, and I am devoted to establishing Jumper Aircraft Maintenance as the most professional and honorable aviation maintenance site possible.

My name is Jadon Batson and I grew up just north of Fort Smith. I was raised in a small town Baptist church in Reavisville, Missouri. I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at 19 and served 5 years as an Avionics Technician for F-35 stealth fighters. I got my general Avionics Certification at the Navel Air Station in Pensacola. After graduating from Pensacola, I traveled to Elgin Air Force Base where I received F-35 specific qualifications and certifications. I married my high school sweetheart, Rani, and we have three beautiful girls. Some of the equipment I have experience with include but are not limited to; Integrated Core Processing systems involving fiber, ethernet, and logic based modules; Communication and Identification Systems utilizing UHF, VHF, and Multi-Array Data Links; Inertial Navigational Systems and Global Positioning Systems; Combat Simulation Training systems as well as Power and Thermal Management systems. I’m also experienced with bleed air leak detectors, optical fire detectors, ultra violet optical fire detectors, troubleshooting fiber optics, closed loop fire detection systems, and High Performance Coaxial Cable loops. I have experience on all variants of the F-35 and enjoy the STOVL variant the most. My favorite project was troubleshooting and repairing a non-functional electronic warfare system of an F-35 STOVL variant while deployed overseas. The system had five bad fiber optic cards, a bad Line Replaceable Unit, and required twelve feet of new grounding wire to be routed through the center fuselage of the airplane. After troubleshooting and discovering these issues, my team and I were able to complete the job in a required short amount of time with limited tools and supplies. I received a Meritorious Mass and a Letter of Commendation from the Marine Corps for my resilience and ingenuity. I hope to bring all my experience, professionalism, and knowledge right here to Fort Smith, Arkansas and can’t wait to be your next choice!
